Ocean and Beach Themed Glass Pendant

There are three sizes available:

Small - approx. 1 inch in diameter
Medium - approx. 1 and 1/4 inch in diameter
Large - approx. 1 and 1/2 inch in diameter

This pendant is perfect if you already have your own necklace and clasp or want to use the pendant in other ways!

Every one of these glass pendants is created by me, in my home studio. To make these, I slowly heat crushed glass over a 16-hour firing cycle to approximately 1500 degrees, at which point the glass liquefies and melts into a circular pendant mold. The result reveals the ocean and surf design seen here in this listing. The "water" part of the design captures the effervescence of the crashing surf with tiny bubbles throughout. The sand is made with a fine-grain mix of colored crushed glass. These are more rounded on the front and flatter on the back. This design allows the pendant to rest comfortably on your neck.

These are all similar, but also all slightly different. No two are exactly alike! The item that is shipping will look similar, but not identical to the ones shown in this listing.

This design in particular was inspired by the beach - the surf, the sand, the sea, and the sun. It's a beautiful day captured in glass! The turquoise and aqua blue contrasted against the sand and surf is the perfect way to say "I love the beach!" I live near Honeymoon Island in Dunedin, Florida, and I used the beautiful beach area here to inspire my creation of this pendant design.
