Purple Pinstripe "Optic" Fused Glass Dish, Purple Glass Dish, Striped Purple Dish

This listing is for a beautiful optic effect purple pinstripe dish. This dish is a little over 5 inches square, and has this unique repeating pattern throughout the dish. This dish was made by fusing the glass in my kiln at approximately 1480 degrees, then once the pattern was set, firing a second time at a lower temperature to "slump" into the slightly curved dish shape you see here. The entire process, including firing time, took about two days to make.

The pinstripes are a combination of french vanilla glass, lavender and purple glass, grey glass and clear glass. Use this dish for anything you like - trinket dish, catchall tray, soap dish, a place to store your jewelry on your dresser or nightstand when you aren't wearing it, or display as a decorative element on a desk or table. This dish also makes a great gift!
